History

Our funeral home is a family owned and operated business. We are large enough to give our families the same service as the largest funeral homes around, yet we are small enough that each family gets the level of attention and care they deserve.

Our history dates back to 1925 when the R.B. Maxwell family house was purchased by Joseph Geiger. Geiger Funeral Home began serving the Mansfield-area and later became Geiger-Herlihy Funeral Home with Paul J. Herlihy and, later his son, Paul R.Herlihy managing the family business.

Now known as Herlihy-Chambers Funeral Home, W. Brandon Chambers is now managing the business and Paul's wife Sharon Dillon Herlihy took over ownership following Paul's death in 1999.

We are proud to be a fourth generation family-owned and operated funeral home and look forward to serving the greater-Mansfield area in the many years to come.

Please contact us if you have any questions and/or comments.

Sincerely,

W. Brandon Chambers
